Why “īkara healing”?
“īkara” means eagle in the Māori language – a being that soars effortlessly, keeps an overview and achieves its goal with clear focus.
This is how I understand transformation: you gain height, recognize your possibilities and land where your soul wants to go.
The logo is inspired by sacred geometry – all life follows harmonious patterns. If we change just one building block, this has a gentle effect on your entire system.
īkara’s mission
Helping people to unleash hidden potential and become their own best mentor – through precise, holistic transformation processes.
īkara’s guiding principles
Wholeness
Body, emotion and mind work as a unit.
Self-empowerment
You learn tools that make you independent.
New energy
Release blockages – activate the flow of life.
Integrity
Science, spirituality and ethics go hand in hand.
Marten Thorand
For over eight years I have been helping people to transform old wounds into inner strength. My path has taken me from management consultancy to Far Eastern martial arts and indigenous healing knowledge in South and North America. Today, I combine these experiences into a modern transformation approach that combines heart and mind.
